Missing Assignment Notifications
Information on MyBUCKLEY notifications.
To better support student success, Buckley has enabled automated Missing Assignment notifications through MyBUCKLEY. These alerts are designed to help students stay on track with their coursework and keep families informed.
When a teacher marks an assignment as “Missing” in MyBUCKLEY:

Students receive an automated notification.

Parents/Guardians also receive the notification for awareness.

Teachers initiate the notification by marking an assignment as missing.
This feature helps improve accountability, increases assignment completion rates, and strengthens communication between students, families, and the school.

The Buckley School – CA buckley@schoolapps.com

Subject line: “The Buckley School - CA has indicated a missing assignment”

Each message will clearly list the course and the assignment that has been marked missing.

How do I manage notification preferences?
Notifications can be managed directly in your MyBUCKLEY Notification Settings.-
Email Alerts (default): Students and parents/guardians automatically receive missing assignment alerts by email.

Unsubscribe/Turn Off: Any user may choose to stop receiving these alerts by updating their notification preferences.

SMS Text Alerts: Currently not available.

How do I unsubscribe from these alerts?
Follow this instructions. OR log into MyBUCKLEY → go to Settings → Notifications. Toggle off “Assignment Missing.”

Can I receive these as text messages instead of emails?
No. This alert type is currently not available . The checkbox option is displayed, but will be greyed out.

If I unsubscribe, will teachers and advisors still know about missing assignments?
Yes. Teachers and advisors continue to track assignment status in MyBUCKLEY. Unsubscribing only stops the automated alerts from reaching you.

Do these notifications replace checking MyBUCKLEY for assignments?
No. These alerts are meant as reminders. Students are still responsible for checking MyBUCKLEY regularly for full assignment details and due dates.

Notifications are currently email-only. SMS Text alerts is currently not available.
